Born of African descent, we know how food connects, unites, comforts and amazes. Drawing on our culinary experience, a solid sourcing network and the invaluable support of our community, we work every day to offer authentic products at competitive prices and to change mindsets, one meal at a time.
Our history
Founded in April 2020, our grocery store gained new momentum with the arrival of a new owner in November 2022. Since then, Distribution Armel has continued to evolve: we now offer a transactional website, a friendly physical grocery store and a warehouse in Repentigny. We’re proud of our in-house brand and our fast, region-wide delivery service.
At Armel, our adventure is part of a committed approach: to combat the prejudices surrounding Afro-Caribbean products and reveal their quality, richness and authenticity to the general public.
